Analytics and compliance platforms are not plug-and-play tools. Installing a tag and declaring the platform live is the beginning of the work, not the end. Each platform requires configuration decisions that significantly affect what data you collect, how accurately you collect it, and whether the platform delivers the value it is supposed to deliver.

We handle end-to-end platform deployments for the tools that form the core of a modern analytics and compliance stack. Every installation is configured to your specific requirements, integrated with your existing tech stack, validated through QA, and documented for your team.

Google Analytics 4

GA4 is the most commonly misconfigured platform in the analytics ecosystem. The default installation collects data, but it collects it in ways that produce misleading reports if you do not know what the default settings actually do.

A properly configured GA4 property requires decisions about data retention (the default 2-month setting is almost always wrong), cross-domain tracking (required any time your visitors move between related domains), data stream configuration (including the enhanced measurement events and whether each one is appropriate for your site), internal traffic exclusions (so your own team's visits do not inflate your data), and referral exclusions (so payment processors and other third parties do not appear as traffic sources).

Our GA4 installation covers:

  • Property and data stream creation with correct configuration settings
  • Google Tag Manager integration with GA4 configuration tag
  • Enhanced measurement review and selective enablement
  • Cross-domain tracking configuration where applicable
  • Internal traffic and referral exclusion rules
  • Data retention set to 14 months
  • Google Ads account linking
  • Search Console linking where applicable
  • Custom dimension and metric registration for any non-standard parameters
  • Initial audience definitions for remarketing and segmentation
  • Conversion event designation

Consent Management Platforms

Privacy regulations require that most websites present visitors with a cookie consent mechanism and respect their choices. The platform you choose and how you configure it has significant implications for your analytics data completeness and your legal compliance posture.

We install and configure three consent management platforms:

OneTrust

OneTrust is the enterprise-grade option, appropriate for large organizations with multi-jurisdiction compliance requirements, complex consent workflows, and the need for detailed consent logging. Our OneTrust installation covers cookie scanning and categorization, banner and preference center configuration, Google Consent Mode v2 integration through GTM, and cross-domain consent syncing where needed.

Cookiebot

Cookiebot is the most practical choice for organizations that need solid GDPR and CCPA compliance without OneTrust's administrative complexity. It scans your site automatically, categorizes cookies accurately, and integrates cleanly with GTM. Our Cookiebot installation configures the scanner, maps cookie categories to consent types, integrates with Google Consent Mode v2, and validates that the consent signal is reaching all relevant tags correctly.

Ketch

Ketch offers a modern approach to consent management with a strong developer experience and a clean consent API. It is a good fit for organizations with technical teams that want more programmatic control over the consent experience. Our Ketch installation covers property and purpose configuration, GTM integration, Consent Mode v2 mapping, and testing across the consent states that matter for your jurisdiction.

ObservePoint

ObservePoint audits your site's analytics implementation by crawling pages and validating that tags are firing correctly. It is the platform most serious analytics organizations use to maintain data quality on an ongoing basis.

Our ObservePoint installation goes beyond getting the platform connected. We configure it to actually do useful work: setting up scheduled audits of your primary page templates, building journeys for your critical user flows, writing custom rules that validate the specific events and parameters your implementation is designed to capture, and configuring alerts that notify the right people when something fails.

An ObservePoint installation from us is a working monitoring program, not just a license activation. Read more about how we approach ObservePoint custom rules and journeys.

Our Installation Process

Every platform installation begins with a brief scoping call to understand your existing tech stack, your compliance requirements, and any specific configuration needs. For platforms with complex configuration decisions, like OneTrust or GA4, we document our recommendations before we implement them so you can review and approve the approach.

Implementation is done in a staging environment where possible, with QA completed before any changes go live on production. For consent management platforms specifically, we test across the full matrix of consent states to confirm that tags are firing or suppressing correctly in each scenario.

Every installation closes with documentation covering the configuration decisions made, the integration points between the installed platform and the rest of your stack, and the ongoing maintenance tasks the platform requires to stay accurate over time.

Deliverables

  • Platform installed and configured to your requirements
  • GTM integration where applicable
  • QA documentation confirming correct behavior across relevant scenarios
  • Configuration documentation for your team
  • Handoff call covering ongoing maintenance requirements
